Ready to join our team? Volunteers are critical to PCC’s effectiveness. We provide all training. Here are a few of the current opportunities:
- Abortion Recovery Advocate – Provide support for Clients who have experienced abortion. Additional AR Advocate training required. Personal experience preferred. Must display compassion and be non-judgmental.
- Adoption Support– must have experience with the adoption process. Provide support for Clients who make this choice.
- Boutique Attendant – Help Clients use their Baby Bucks in our Blessings Boutique during open Center hours. Keep appropriate records of transactions. Ability or willingness to learn to use a tablet or Chromebook device.
- Client Advocate– Meet one-on-one with Clients to provide patient, loving, compassionate, non-judgemental conversations in response to either positive or negative pregnancy tests, follow-up to BrightCourse Lessons, and general emotional/spiritual support for sometimes complex pregnancy and parenting situations. Basic computer skills required, including use of a laptop.
- Client Advocate (Male)– See above Client Advocate description. Facilitate fatherhood goals.
- Youth Outreach Coordinator– Speaking and presenting sexual risk avoidance programming for high schools, trade schools, and other youth and community organizations. Training required.
- Youth Coordinator Assistant– Assist Youth Outreach Coordinator. See above
- Childcare – Assisting Clients and Staff with oversight of children to enable the Client to fulfill their visit.
- Intake Receptionist– The first point of contact with clients upon their arrival. Offer a warm welcome and collect necessary information. Keep client records up-to-date and the office area tidy. Work with the Office Manager on processes. Basic computer and office skills required.
- Public Speaking – Represent PCC at events which may include churches, groups, organizations, or radio. Training with the Executive Director is also required.
