Ready to join our team? Volunteers are critical to PCC’s effectiveness. We provide all training. Here are a few of the current opportunities:
- Client Advocate: Provide patient, loving, compassionate, non-judgmental private conversations, help choose BrightCourse lessons, and assure general emotional/spiritual support for sometimes complex pregnancy and parenting situations. Basic computer skills are necessary.
- Helpline Representative: Be the reassuring voice 24/7 for clients and potential clients.
- Intake Receptionist: A warm welcome and smile are the first point of contact with clients upon their arrival. Help keep client records and general office processes. Computer experience is necessary.
- Boutique Attendant: Love to shop? This is for you! Help clients shop and use their Baby Bucks during open hours. Keep appropriate records of transactions.
- Greeter: Another area where a smile and welcome are key. If you love children, come play! Help clients by providing informal supervision of their children so the client can focus.
- Event Team: Fundraising events are vital to our work. Whether it’s planning a banquet, church brunch, open house, or other event, we need your skills.
- Church Liaison: Be the communication link to PCC. Ensure your church has our monthly newsletter, the congregation is updated, and any PCC events are timely announced.
